A Trashy Sunny Day

As I was snapping away on my camera, while walking around my town, I started to notice many sewers and storm drains filled with garbage.  The thought of pollution in the world was a horrible thought, but pollution flowing into the ocean and happening where I live was far too much to tolerate.  I waved my hand as if to push away these horrible images of pollution and started to capture more pictures of nature to calm myself.

After many flashed and clicks of images, I finally arrived at the beach.  While I was walking toward the sandy waters, I slid into a dark crack and it seemed to get darker and darker and the beach seemed to get farther away!  Trying to stay towards the sunny beach, I soon realized I was getting sucked into a storm drain.  Struggling to get away, I noticed people already captured in the storm drain and they were becoming pail and ill.  The pollution in the water from all of the trash was poisoning the people.  It was also making the ocean dirty and the fish sick.  All hope seemed lost until over a grassy hill, above the storm drain, I could see the sun shinning and people starting to pick up trash, as they noticed the oil and other liquids, polluting the town, that needed to be stopped.
The more that they cleaned, the brighter the sun became.  In a blink of an eye, all of the ill people became well again and the beach was cleaner than ever before.  People learned that pollution makes our beaches and towns unhealthy.  It just goes to show that cleaning the beach or being aware of how to keep your town and outdoor areas clean can make a difference in the world.
